ACCA and Czech EMAA Member „Union of Accountants“ are delighted to invite to a high-level conference to discuss this important issue for all of us in the „New Europe“. The conference will take place in Prague on 7th October 2003. Speakers include:

  • Hans-Georg Bruns (International Accounting Standards Board)
  • Johann van Helleman (European Financial Reporting Advisory Group)
  • Professor Peter Walton (Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting)
  • Jose-Maria Bove (Vice President, European Federation of Accountants)
  • Peter Poulsen (Secretary General, European Federation of Accountants and Auditors for SMEs)
  • Liesel Knorr (Deutches Rechnungslegungs Standards Committee)
  • Lubomir Harna (Czech Union of Accountants)
  • Professor Robin Jarvis (Head of Small Business, ACCA)
  • A panel of expert preparers, users and standard setters from new accession countries including Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary

The conference will be introduced by Ing. Ladislav Zelinka, Deputy Minister of Finance in the Czech Republic at Marriott Hotel, Prague
