Invitation to participate at the CONSTANTINUS 2018 Award

UBIT – the Austrian Professional Association of Management Consultancy and Information Technology – has created the Constantinus Award to promote excellence in consulting and IT-services.
The Constantinus has so far been awarded to UBIT members and their respective customers each year since 2003. It has become the leading national award for knowledge-based services in Austria and has been recognized by the Austrian Federal Government as the sole qualifying process for the Federal State Award ‚Consulting – Management Consultancy and Information Technology‘ (Staatspreis Consulting – Unternehmensberatung und IT).
In addition every year the Constantinus International Award invites consultants from all over the world to submit projects with exceptional customer value.
Even as a very young award, the Constantinus International Award is already a much sought-after decoration for outstanding consulting performances.
„The International Consulting Award continues its worldwide success story and is already an established quality seal for knowledge based services all over the world“, says Sorin Caian, President of ICMCI.
In 2018 a new category is added : Bookkeeping (Accounting) and Finance
Submissions to this category may be done provided one or more of the following points apply:
– Increase of efficiency , good management or profitability through
– Optimization of accounting and financial processes
– Efficiency in Payroll administration and services
– Efficiency in Bookkeeping and Accounting
– Effective Controlling (mainly for SMEs and One-Person companies)
– Support foundation and establishment phase
– Optimization through digitalization
– Innovation.
The Bookkeeping and Accounting Chapter within UBIT invites you to encourage your members and associates to directly participate in this year’s award.
Please inform us (Ruth or Erika) by January 15 at the late, if you will participate. Individual submissions from your country will only be accepted accordingly.
HOW WILL IT WORK
All submissions must be done on-line by completing the questionnaire in category ‚Buchhaltung und Finanzen‘ (www.constantinus.net). As this is in English Language we can provide you with the German translation upon your request. The answers may be given in German or English. Attachments can remain in original language. The questionnaire will be open on Jan. 15th, 2018 and must be completed by March 19th. The participation fee is € 190.- excl. VAT.
The Jury members representing experts from different countries – but no executives from UBIT to guarantee maximum objectivity – will perform an on-line voting by June 2 and a plenary session on June 8 to determine a group of 8 finalists and a ranking 1-3.
The award ceremony will take place in Salzburg on June 14th. Please reserve the date in your diary.
In case there will be a sufficient participation from different countries, we have agreed with ICMCI, the worldwide consultants association a participation in the worldwide Constantinus with an award ceremony in Milano, Italy in October 2018.
The Constantinus will be supported by different local events, outside communication etc. In case you want to participate we will supply you with marketing material, press releases and the information on participation and results from your country in order to nominate a ‚Country winner‘ if you want to do so.
We are looking forward to a first major international activity in our profession and hope you will have a number of qualified participants, whom we wish much success.
